Shoots in the 90s

Two different courses here - Butterfield Stage and Chino Creek. Butterfield is a much more wide-open layout. The course is still challenging, but can also help to build confidence in your game. I hadn't played this course in a while, but smart plays will help you minimize your score.
Chino Creek and Butterfield are two completely different courses. While Butterfield is a challenging confidence builder, Chino Creek (from what I can remember) is just challenging.
I'll be playing Chino Creek this weekend and will post a review soon for that. From what I remember, it is a much tighter and less forgiving track (almost no parallel holes = lost balls if they're not where they should be vs. being on the next hole's fairway).

Overall this place is a pretty good value at $52 to ride on weekends. Rounds are usually pretty good on time (4:30 - 5 hrs). Greens are pretty forgiving and run a little slow when you're on them, but not bad.
Fairways were in good shape last time I played as well.

Can be up and down - had an issue with the starter on having a spectator with us last time out.

I PLAYED ON DEC.29,200, TWO DAYS AFTER A HEAVY RAIN. COURSE PLAY NICE. HAD THE WINTER LOOK (SOME BARE SPOTS DUE TO THE FROST) GREENS WHERE VERY GOOD. FAIRWAY HAD SOME SOFT SPOTS FROM RAIN,BUT O.K., TEE BOXES WHERE GOOD, WITH SOME DIVOTS. SAND TRAPS WHERE MOSTLY DRIE AND PLAYABLE ONLY SEEN ONE WITH DEEP WATER. SERVICE IS FRIENDLY. COW SMELL WAS NOT A PROBLEM, BUT ADDS TO AN INTERESTING SIGHT WHILE PLAYING. PACE WAS GOOD, MARSHALL ENCOURAGING PACE. I WILL PLAY AGAIN.

Not a bad course for the price. Nine dollars to walk during summer twilight.

Shoot in the 80s

Nice course for a great price. Its 25 bucks to ride and is a great course. It is out in the middle of nowhere and near cows and if you are down wind from cows bring a clothes pin for your nose. But nicely kept even though I have seen workers taking the occasional weed break.
