Played Eagle Glen in January of 10’. Played off of an internet deal which cost us $39.00 to play. I remember years ago Eagle Glen was a $70 course, ( I love this recession). If you’ve never played there, the club house is first class, nice range and practice area. The carts also have GPS. The course though, is not what it use to be. Obviously they have been cutting back on water and many of the fairways were dry and dead looking. It reminded me of playing back east during the off season. The greens were in good shape and held nicely. Very fast and large greens. The bunkers…well, let’s just say need some serious works. The ones I visited were rock hard and in overall in poor shape. The worst one was the #3 par five green side bunker. It looked like broken up clumps of rocks, One of my playing partners landed in it and I didn’t have the heart to make him hit out of it. The course has some tricky fairways that require some shot making which made it a fun course. There are several go for it, or lay up decisions to be made during your round. The winds pick up in this area in the late morning/early afternoon which will effect your play. It’s no Goose Creek, but for $39 bucks it’s a good deal.

Went to Eagle Glen a couple weeks ago for the first time. Challenging first few holes. The course seems to ease up on you as you ease into your round. Course was in good shape. Greens were pretty quick. I enjoyed the changes in elevation and the differences from hole to hole. Interesting that hole 9 doesn't lead to the clubhouse for a break, but right to hole #10. That was kind of interesting to me, and I realized how timely that mental break half-way through the round was. I typically shoot in low-mid 90's and shot a 101 here with blowing some opportunities and losing 6 balls!
Overall an enjoyable experience, I want to tackle this course again though and shoot the round that I should.

Customer Service

Great. Starter and Course Marshall were great. Cart girls were very timely in their service. Right when I started to think that I needed something to drink, here they came around the corner.

When I lived in Orange County I always went out to Corona. The drive is a bit of a bother, especially paying for the toll road. However the course was always in excellent condition. There is a lot of variety and challenge (the greens are always fast). I usuall ended up paying around $50 on the weekend. Check out a place called Paul's Destination. They sold coupons that were a real deal. $75 with one round free and three more at $50.

Customer Service

Excellent. Whenever I had a gripe the solved things way beyond my expectations.

The bar and grill are is good. Also, the range is very good. If you pay full rate the balls are included. No mats and yardages well marked.

Its worth the 45 minutes to drive there from O/C. This is one of the best courses in Southern Califoria. It seems like every hole has a different look with a different way to play it. The course is set in a very scenic valley with changes in elevation and a creek traversing through a number of holes.

Customer Service

Very good

Nice, challenging layout in a remote canyon area, with desert foliage. Lots of elevation changes to make shots interesting, and the course is very well maintained. When the wind kicks up, prepare to lose balls! Lots of canyon/gulch forced carries, which can be a nightmare when the wind kicks up.

Excellent layout that is fair for the duffer to the pro. Large difference in distance form the gold to black tees(700 yards). Large, fast rolling greens so 3 putts are not uncommon. Played at the end of December and course condition was very good.

Customer Service

Excellent.

Shoot in the 80s

One of my favorite courses in SoCal. Challenging, well designed layout; tees, fairways and greens are generally in excellent condition year round. Keep your ball in play and you can score well but there are at least 6 holes where the carry off the tee or the narrow landing area make for some excitement and possible lost balls. Priced at a premium, but I generally leave feeling that it was worth it.

Customer Service

Customer service is generally good, but keep an eye on your clubs.

Shoot in the 80s

Excellent condition, as clean as the streets in Disneyland. Fast, true greens. Hit accurately. Bad shots get punished here. Good challenge for low handicappers and bogie golfers. Service on and off of the course is excellent. Great driving range and practice area.

Customer Service

All employees make you feel comfortable and welcome.
