A nice course with a nice selection of holes. Some elevated tees and tree lined fairways. Greens were in great shape when I played. Tee boxes were so, so.

Customer Service

Good.

Most enjoyable moment was buying soda from local youngsters near an underpass between holes on a hot day.

Shoots in the 80s

A good course in the north part of the San Fernando Valley that can challenge you game depending on the conditions. There will be holes that you may want to draw the ball, holes that you will need to fade the ball. Holes that you can bomb with the driver or have to finesse with your wedge. The course is an open, tree-lined course that makes good use of elevated tees and fairway bunker placement to keep you honest. SOAPBOX TIME: While American Golf does advocate fivesomes which tends to promote slow play, most municipal courses in LA County have slow play on the weekends due to crowds and the number of tee times they try to book each hour. To play on a public course in LA during the weekend and not expect a 5+ hour round is delusional, whether it is American Golf or not. (I have no vested interest in American Golf, but I have become irritated that people are bashing a process that more than likely allowed them to get a tee time even though they see it a corporate greed).

Customer Service

Good help from the starter and pro shop with reasonable prices.

A terrible golf experience on every level. Only play this course if you enjoy fivesomes for every group and 6 hour rounds. Thanks go out to American Golf for ruining a semi-decent and interesting course by making it completely unplayable on weekends.

Great golf course for the price. Hole #1 rated as one of the toughest holes in the City of L.A. They have a lot of specials they email to you!! Small putting greens which always seem to be full. Nice driving range, 2 tiered, which a card must be purchased at the starter for balls from the machine located by the range.

The course is in pretty good condition even though it has tremendous amount of play all year round. Greens are fair due to the clientel that think they are pros and must wear solid cleats which the course stupidly allows. Fairways are fair and the tees are in good condition.

Customer Service

Tee times can easily be made one week prior, good teaching pros, nice starters.
