My mom has a house here so I play this course all the time. Beautiful course. Its not really long so you can score if you can just keep that darn ball out of the trees. Its a really fun course and kept up nicely. First timers may struggle with the deceptive greens. Even when they look flat...the hillside greens break more than you think depending on the green and hole location.

Customer Service

Great club house staff. Always nice. I've never walked out of there thinking..."gee that person was rude or arrogant." Which I have on many other courses. Restaurant is really good too.

The condition, the layout, the setting and even the price all make this course well-worth taking a detour into the mountains to play.

It is semi-private, and the members who I ran into had not taken their happy pills that day, which made it a bit unpleasant. That probably is the exception and not the norm though.

This really is a great course. It starts off with a fun downhill par four and gets better as you go. It's challenging, well-kept and forces you to hit the ball straight, but not too long. It's in a beautiful setting, a while below Yosemite but in dense forrest, and the hills and slopes force you to use every shot you have, and some you don't.

Customer Service

The customer service was very good -- the proshop and course staff made me feel very welcome even if my playing partners didn't.
