Management has really let this course go to hell. The fairways were completely dead (no lie!) and they were short on carts. The ones they had were in bad shape (the cart attandent confirmed this). The pace of play here has always been bad, and on 12/19/09, it was even worse with management letting 5sums play. There were 2 in front of my group. It took just under 4 hours for my group to complete 13 holes. It's really ashame what's happening here because this course really has potental. I only paid $30 from Golfnow(normally $40), but was not much of a deal for the overall conditions and pace of play. Hopefully things will improve, but until then, not going back to this course.

Customer Service

Except for the cart girl and beverage bar, service was bad. People are doing the best they can, but not getting any support from management.

Management has really let this course go to hell. This was confirmed by the staff there. Have played this course in the past and enjoyed it despite the slow play. Its a fun and challenging layout. However, played on 12/19/09 and the fairways were completley dead (no lie!). Greens and tees were in OK shape. They were also short of carts and the ones they had were in bad shape according to the attandant. They pace of play was horrible as well. Took just under 4 hours to play 13 holes. In its current state, cannot recommend this course.

Customer Service

Besides the cart girls and beverage bar, service was bad.

Very different course. One of the only links style courses I've heard of in the area. The course was in very good condition - fairways, rough, bunkers, greens, etc. The waste areas and other hazards provide take some getting used to. I believe that the course would look better if we weren't in a drought and they had water running through the burns. I purchased a Yardage Book for $6 at the pro shop and was definitely worth it as it helped in a number of places (carry over parts of burn where it runs diagonally). Playing this course the 1st time was difficult in that you didn't know where parts of the course played (10th hole). Course is flat but has undulation on fairways, etc. I would like to play this course again, but not in my regular rotation - more when I'm looking for something different to play... it's also a bit further of a drive for me as well (Orange County).

Customer Service

Good. Our tee time was at 7:24, we teed off at 7:45 (they were backed up already, but it was July 3rd). When we finished, we had to rush to get our carts returned because they were out @ 12:30. While this didn't affect us, it would be annoying if we were to tee off in the afternoon.

...nothing really like it. Eagle Glen in terms of course conditions, but the layout and style is one-of-a-kind for the area.
