I go to Alondra GC after work with a friend during weekdays. The super twilight starts at 6:00 pm and the price to walk is $12.50. Sometimes the starter lets tee off a little earlier than 6:00 pm.

I'm not sure how much is to rent a cart but it's relative flat and easily walkable.

During summer, you can get through 1st nine holes without much problem before it gets too dark.

They recently renovated the 1st nine holes and I think they did a decent job. The course plays short, relatively wide fairways, and super slow greens.

There aren't too many choices around the area. Los Verdes is too crowded, Links at Victoria is no better, and Trump National is too expensive.

Keep your expectations low and you'll have fun here.

I was impressed with the new changes on the front nine. It really adds some character to a basically flat course with raised greens. I like the new greens and added bunkers. I only wish that they had the money to update the backside as well. Its not a great course, but its a fun course and easy to score on if you are playing well.

Customer Service

Pleasant enough.

one of the worst maintenance course's in the south bay. i just got done playing last week and the maintenance crew had the water on turn on all the fair ways so me and playing partner had no where to tee off for five minute. This would repeat for the next nine hole's. The service in the restaurant is beyond poor. The english is horrible and the people behind the counter are rude and impolite. Try hitting your drive straight down the fairway to only find you ball on a rock hard surface or in a mud patch.

This is a beginners course. The course is not maintained very well at all- but that shouldn't bother a beginner. Good golfers don't play here. Cash only for green fees- not sure why or if this is standard for an LA County course.

Model Reviewed: Alondra

Gotta love Alondra. There are limited options in the South Bay, but this course stands the test of time. A true MUNI in every sense of the word. Nothing memorable, nothing scenic. Traffic and a chain link fence on MBB and Redondo Beach Blvd provide beautiful surroundings. The course is fun and close. It's not hard.

Customer Service

Busy, but courteous.

This golf course may not be the best, but it doesn't cause for many complaints. I'm an ameteur, yet i found this course very pleasing. The greens are not in perfect shape, but everything else is great in my eyes. I believe that only Victoria matches its quality as a great golf course in the south bay.

Customer Service

great, especially the men at the pro shop

I started playing golf on this course. The first time I played, I got off on a good start scoring a 98 on this course. After playing other coursed I found this course to be very easy in every aspect. That could be why the place is booked up all the time despite the below average condition of the course. There are no any memorable holes, not may hazards, and the green condition could be horrible sometimes. If you're looking to improve your handicap try this course. I would not recommand this course for anyone that cares about scenary or course condition.

Customer Service

pro shop is friendly, others facilities are not very inviting
