A little short, especially with the elevation (my 5-iron got a good workout) - Remote location (although this could also be a strength!) - A bit pricey, but worth it.

Absolutely beautiful course! Cut right out of a pine forest at an elevation of 7500 ft. with incredible views of the High Sierra mountains. Some of the views were breathtaking. The entire course is in great shape despite the heavy winters they sometimes get. The greens are very receptive to shots, which at this elevation is a plus. The beautiful landscaping around the course almost takes your mind off your golf game. Not a very difficult layout, provided you keep your ball in the fairway. A great design that's not very long, but you'll pay dearly if you miss the fairway...nothing but trees. Strategic bunkering also forces you to be accurate. There are not very many holes where you want to pull out your driver. Overall, superb beauty and great golf!
