One great course with some of the most lush and green settings around. Played as a guest in a Tourney that was 1st class all the way. Even if you hit a poor shot, it didn't matter because it is such a beautiful course. Tall trees line almost all fairways so off target shots can hurt your feelings and your score. Tough par 3's will really bite you if not careful but a several of shorter par 4's allow for birdie chances. Great greens-putts rolled true and was a pure joy to play.

Beautifully maintened. Narrow but fair fairways...You better be hitting straight, or you will be in the trees. I left my driver in my bag, and used my #3 wood off the tee. Greens are FAST and challenging. Get a "True" roll, so if you make the right read, you'll be OK. There are putts that are "do or die"...make it, or be by the hole by 5 feet. The course reminded me a bit of Poppy Hills.

Nearly impossible to get on. Guests of members ONLY. They are in the construction phase of a new clubhouse, so the restaurant and and pro shop are in trailers. The course is built in the foothills, so expect uneven lies, and some ups and downs. I walked and enjoyed the scenery, and it was fine. Only one water hole, and that only can into play if you were way left.

Hidden treasure in the Bayarea. Very exclusive, and equally difficult to get a chance to play. Members have a limited number of guests per year, and I feel honored to have had a opportunity to play. This course is as beautiful and challenging as any on the Monterrey Peninsula. Mature trees line every narrow fairway, and the greens are protected by huge bunkers. If you get a chance to play here...Don't pass it up for any reason.
