An okay muni. course. Tee boxes are decent. Fairways have a variety of differen grasses and weeds that have been mowed to a reasonable length. Fairly open fairways with mature trees. Greens are okay. There is water on a number of holes but it usually doesn't come into play unless you're a chronic slicer/hooker. Very walkable and flat. Course has drainage problems but it is in a river bottom. A decent fun course to play but nothing very memorable. Typical cost for a muni $20 range for locals, $40 for out of town. Good for most levels of play.

Shoot in the 90s

I really liked the layout of this course. Water comes into play on alot of the holes. Need to play more than once so you know where to place the ball. There was one hole where I hit my tee shot perfectly where I wanted to but I was actually aiming at the wrong green. They just recently paved new cart paths but they should have used the money on a better drainage system. There were HUGE puddles on the fairways that could have been tabbed as a water hazard because it stretched out so far and was pretty deep that you would literally lose your balls in them. Alot of the bunkers also had big puddles in them making it even more difficult to hit out of them. The course is even more challenging when the wind is blowing, you have to use an extra club longer so the wind won't knockdown your ball short of the green. A nice course to play during the summer months when the course dries out.

Customer Service

Friendly staff.

I was told by a few people that while the fairways weren't in the best of shape, the greens more than made up for it. Well, I don't know if it was because we went there in their winter (it's been a mild winter) but the greens weren't anything to get excitied about.

The course has quite a bit of water. Off the first tee you wouldn't know there is some off to the right. We were lucky to be paired up with 2 guys who had played here before and knew were it was.

Fairways were in decent condition. The first couple of holes are lined with old growth trees. Most of the greens were well guarded with steep sand traps. The sand was in pretty good shape.

The back nine is a little more open.

We were lucky to play on a day with no wind. If it's windy there, it would make playing this couse a lot harder.
