Just played the Valley course (in early November) with my wife and this course met all my expectations. The greens, fairways and tees were in excellent shape. Course was fun and challenging including water holes and some elevation changes. My favorite hole was #17 which I birdied.

At first I thought the greens fee was on the high side, but after playing three different courses over a long weekend, I found this course was the most fun.

Customer Service

Actually had some fun with Patsy, the starter, who gave my wife a brief lesson on her short game. My wife and I had a few laughs with him. Very upbeat guy.

The other reviewers must have played this course in the summer, or it was a different course, cause the course I played was terrific! The course is extremely plush, exremely fair, and has one of the most amazing par 4's (#15) I've ever played, even though I tripled it! The course has lots of water, but most of it really doesn't come into play for 20 handicapper's and below. The fairways are wide, and the greens roll very true. The course is most plush course I've personally played in Southern California. Slightly different perspective than the other reviews. The only way you cannot like this course is if you play it in the summer, or if you have to pay full price of $145 in the winter.

Customer Service

OK. Could have been better, but could have been worse. Not really what you'd expect from a nice resort, but hey guess what, Palm Springs Public Resorts aren't known for great service.

Played Palms and Valley on June 30 and July 1. Course condition was very poor. Greens were spotty and tees were dirt in most cases. Fairways were OK. Winter grasses had not died out which might explain poor conditions. Layouts are attractive with a lot of water features. Since it is quite hot this time of year the prices were very low.

The Palm Course is by far the most senic with water coming into play on a good deal of holes. The heat is killer but the price is unbelevably cheap durring the summer months. Me and my friend played each course twice and were never bored.

Make sure you bring plenty of balls at the clubhouse the cheapest balls go for eight dollars a jacket.

Shoot in the 80s

There are 2 18 hole courses at this resort. I'm reviewing
the Palm course. This course is beautiful featuring 2
par-3's with island greens. It looks intimidating but very
exciting if you manage to get on the green. Water comes
into play on many holes, so bring plenty of balls. Greens
are in great condition. Putts are fast but roll very
smooth. Fairways are average with some dry patches due
to the summer heat. Prepare for the sun and heat (over
110+). Drink plenty of water and be generous with sun
block.

Shoot in the 80s

Have played on both 18 hole courses several different times of the year. Each time, the condition of the green, tee, and fairway were in pretty good shape. My biggest complaint is the quality of service that seems to have declined over the years. The pro shop seems to be staffed with arogant, washed-up golf-pros who act as though you are here to mow their lawn rather than play a game of golf. It leaves you leaving with a bad taste in your mouth at the attitude of the guys working behind the counter. In addition, they now charge you for GPS and have the nerve to ask each golfer in your party, even though you may be sharing a cart (It's $5 dollars per cart). During the summer months, the temperature on the course averages well over a 100 degrees yet there are no coolers provided on the carts. Several of the drinking fountains on the course were not even working.

Needless to say, after several years golfing on this course, I think I'd get better service at my local public course than have to put up again with those "pros" at the pro shop.

Customer Service

No, the "employees" in the pro shop were rude and ARROGANT.
