Shoots in the 90s

I live in the area and have always wanted to play this course. I played it a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday morning. Course was nice, but nothing super special. Reasonably priced for Orange County, but I would prefer to drive a little further and get a similar experience for 1/2 the price.
Front 9 and back 9 are 2 completely different courses, so it made the experience enjoyable.
Overall, a nice and interesting layout (in a good way) with good conditions. Played Saturday morning and got in a round in about 4 1/2 hrs.

Thought the course was fine for a public course. Front nine is fairly basic, a few interesting holes, mostly run of the mill but still a pleasant setting. Back nine was much more challenging and more interesting visually. Don't know about pricing complaints, paid $70 for Thursday AM (>55), regular rate was only about $80. Would play again.

Tijeras Creek is expensive first off. The greens are fast and in good shape most of the time. But the fairways are being reseeded continuously it seems. I played it four times this year with company membership. We need to find a better course for the money. Back nine is the best.

Shoot in the 70s

A nice course, but not worth what they make you pay. The front nine is pretty standard for a mid $ course, nice, fairly simple. The back nine winds along the edge of canyons, which makes for some great views. Very tight on the back, bring several balls. The condition of the course was good, although the greens were surprisingly slow, considering I had always heard "fast greens". If you're visiting and can fork up the $125, play it once, but not twice.

Fairly average course. Better than most, but not quite worth the cost. Front nine is average, but back nine become more difficult. Once the course get backed up, plan on spending the day. Worth visiting.
