Shoots in the 80s

Great course. Fairways are firm during the winter. Very tight holes. Leave driver in the bag on the back nine. Back nine is much tougher than the front nine. Yardage markings are not consistent throughout the course. Some sprinkler heads have yardages but not all of them. Then need to have red, white, and blue flags for ease of seeing where the flag is. A checkered flag pin does not cut it. They need GPS yardages on the carts to make it much easier. Or put cirby yardage markers in. I am so glad that they are not doing the all Fe (Logan program) spraying fertilzer on the greens anymore. They are green again instead of black. It is smarter not to fertilze the greens with only Fe. Greens look to be more healthy now. Greens are tricky.

Be accurate. Don''t expect to score well the first time you play here. My second time showed a noticeable improvement. This is a beautiful course!! Every challenge in the book is here. You will come back to play again.

Shoot in the 100s

This is a beautiful course. The fairways are in great shape if your so lucky to keep it there. I would recommend you leave the driver in the bag unless your deadly accurate. You should play this course at least twice. The first round will give you the feel and confidence you'll need to shoot a good score. The greens were still rough since aeration two weeks prior, but I can tell, they will test the best soon. If your not close to the pin, take a few extra moments to read the green. The "Wetlands" areas are numerous and very close to the fairways. You can not hit out of these areas, meaning semi-bad shots = penalty strokes. Played course 3/17/2001. If your just playing for fun, take some chances. You'll be rewarded. Be sure to use the "Interim Players Guide", it provides detailed information on each hole. Good luck.

Shoot in the 80s

This course plays a lot tougher than it looks. There's only a couple of holes where I felt confident enough to bring out the driver. Most of the fairways are tight with lots of trouble all around. Sand, Water, Trees, Brush, etc.....

I decided to play here today cuz I've been doing fairly well on another course which is somewhat easier. I got my rear end kicked hard.

The layout is such that on most holes there are good shots off the tee and then so-so.....not withstanding those shots that shouldn't be seen again. If you're not in the right spot on the fairway, You will have trees to go over/under to get to the green.

The fairways are in excellent condition as are the greens. The greens will teach you a thing or two about breaks and speed. Most of my 10-15' putts broke at least twice and went by the cup an average of 2-3'. I generally go around in 28-30 putts per round and today I felt good to get off the course with "just" 38 putts.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is feeling somewhat cocky about their game.

Customer Service

The people there are very pleasant and very helpful. I did a walkon and was able to tee off within a half hour.
