Great muni course. Good diversity, Nice conditions for a muni course. And the course is at a good prise for this area!

Customer Service

Very good, with a good restaurant.

OK, I have to lower my other SC review as a result of the last several times out there. Greens keep getting worse. Overall condition is slipping. Continued course "improvements" take tee boxes and greens out of play without telling you in advance. 4 years ago I loved this place, now I only go there when I am desperate. If you have the time to drive to North San Diego or to Riverside, do that instead.

Probably the best value in Orange County, even if you have to pay non-resident prices (walking - $27 on weekdays, $34 on weekends). It's in remarkably good condition considering the amount of play the course gets. It's strength is the design of the holes, particularly the back 9. Number 15 is an excellent par 3. Nine of the holes date back to the 30's or 40's, I think, with the other nine added in the early 60's, so it is well grown up. There is no water on the course. When in doubt, assume putts will break to the ocean. Avoid it on the weekend if possible, or consider showing up between 6:00-7:30 a.m. and just play the back.

A real bargain, if you can get on. Tee times go to residents first, and they will fill up the course because it only costs $16 for resident green fees on weekends. As a walk-on single, I have waited as much as 3+ hours to get on weekends. The course itself is wide open, and fun to play. Condition is fair, greens have fallen from great to fair over the last couple of years. Unless you are really wild, there are only 1 or 2 holes where lost balls can happen.
