Shoots in the 80s

I just moved to San Diego and this is the course is the closest to my house. I decided I was just going to hit balls, but when I saw $19 for 18 holes, I couldn't pass it up. It's an executive course, par 58, with the longest hole being around 290. The remaining par 4s are in the 250-265 range. There are some excessively short par 3s. They were reseeding about half of the tee boxes so the tees played further up than normal. One of the holes couldn't have been more than 50 yards. Needless to say, the course isn't hard. The bunkers don't really ever come into play. The greenside bunkers aren't close enough to the green to be real hazards and the few fairway bunkers are placed about 200 yards out, so they aren't anything to worry about. For an inexpensive executive course, the greens aren't half bad. They are a little bumpy in places, but all in all they are decent. If I have any real complaint, it's the tee boxes. They were really chewed up, more so than most executive courses. In the end I would recommend this course, and will more than likely continue to play it.

They have a half grass, half artificial turf driving range. It's good for irons, but is too short for woods.
