Shoots in the 70s

The Wick is frequently under rated. At 6000+ yds it's short, but the greens, bunkering and wind all come into play. It is my home course, but my handicap there travels well. I find it challenging each time I play. Don't get lulled into a false sense of security here, if you don't get the ball in the fairway expect to bogie the hole. The Super. has been working hard this spring to firm up the greens and his efforts have paid off.

Shoots in the 100s

Willowick is a "friendly" course for the mid to high-handicapper. A read a description about Willowick that described playing there as Army-golf. In other words, if you are wild off the tee, you'll only end up in the next fairway and probably end up with a good lie. There is no water hazards to drown those expensive balls you purchased from your home course. I shot a 93 (33 putts), my best round ever. Greens and fairways were in good shape. Putts rolled true. Most people did repair their divots. The par-3's are long at 175+ yards, at least for me. The course can be walked because there isn't any elevation change. My round was 4.5 hours, which is pretty good for a crowded Friday. Very reasonable weekday and weekend green fees. This is a course that can provide a much needed boost in your game.
