fun change of pace course if you are in the area. a bargain for the price. lots of up and down. I walked it and it was a challenge. many uphill shots to greens. the greens held well but were surprisingly fast. the least pppular hole seems to be No 9 - a par 5 with a very elevated green. the key to it is the second shot...don't lay up at the 150 as I though to do...it opens up a lot closer to the green.

On the plus side, this course is very pretty and well maintained. The tees, fairways, and greens are in good shape. The people in the pro shop are very nice and the price is fair. On the negative side, the course is too hilly. The frequency of extreme side-hill, up-hill, down-hill, and hanging lies takes a lot of the fun out of your round. There are three or four holes that are simply unfair. The greens are huge and hard to read. I will probably return some day but I am just a glad not to have to play all my golf there.

Par 3's are all good. Number 8 over water is a great hole.

The par 5's...big time. Both finishing holes are par 5's and really goofy holes. Both of them should be redesigned to flatter, more exciting finishing holes.

Short, fun course. Lots of elevation change with some blind shots. Greens are in good shape with spotty fairways. Challenging, entertaining layout.

Driving range is weird. You hit into a canyon with really no idea how far or how accurate you hit the ball.

The layout is fun, and incorporates trees and water well, making for some fun decisions. If I recall, it's a decent value.

It's basically on the sun and is new, so there isn't a lot of shade. It gets quite hot.

This course is in very condition and has some fun holes. Some lakes make for very interesting choices on some par threes and fours, and the final hole is a fun, uphill par five.

Customer Service

The staff was a little weary of us city folk invading the place, but were nice enough.
