Shoots in the 100s

I enjoyed myself very much, the early fairways were not too green, and all were very hard. The greens were the fastest I have ever seen... if you carefully placed a ball on the practice green, on a part with hardly any slope, the ball rolled to the very bottom.

Note: I'm with a HS golf team, so i didn't have to pay a greenfee, but It seems they are quite high

The course is amazingly hard from the tips. Fairways narrow, greens quick and sloping. Beatiful course with awsome par 3's. Putting green is ridiculously fantastic. Definitely a must play and fairly affordable

Shoots in the 80s

Was somewhat disapointed in this course, with what I had heard about it. The layout is good, but course conditions are subpar, and the course is too crammed with adjacent houses, and it looks like with all the construction, it will only get worse. Would not make the trip to play here again.

Shoots in the 80s

Disappointed in this course... was expecting more. Fairly challenging, especially due to wind factor on the day I played. Tee boxes were poorly maintained/overplayed... too many divots! Greens were multi-tiered and fast... quite a challenge. First tee is a blind shot dog leg right. Couple of nice par 3's (water island green, sand island green). Fairways were ok, greens were ok, but tee boxes were nasty.

Shoots in the 70s

A bit disappointed considering the high praise we heard before playing it. The first hole is really a ridiculous start, especially if you have never played the course before. You have a blind slicing tee shot over a hill that houses an estate. If you go straight you go into a ditch, if you slice too much you are lost on the hillside or in the yard of the mansion. The fairways were very shaggy. Wedges actually go under the ball on the fairway resulting in pop up pushes. Many of the greens also seemed contrived - one was a four or five tier green thatlooked like a staircase and any chips from above will not stop until they reach the front of the green. The last hole typifies the whole course. A short par five that is so narrow you can't really tell where the fairway is. It was actually smarter to play from the next fairway so I took 3 wood and flew it over the trees into the middle of the next fairway which was much wider and gave the player a direct and shorter line to the flag. Lucky I didn't hit anyone coming up that fairway.

Customer Service

Very friendly, starter tries really hard to explain how to play the first hole.

Shoot in the 80s

Very NICE course!!! Very challanging and pretty. You need to be striking the ball very well and the putting is no breeze either. An all around test of your golf abilities. I've played most of the upper end courses in Southern California and this is one of the best. Course management is a must here. will need to know when to use the driver or not. The par threes are some of the most difficult holes. Club house is small. Staff is good but dont go out of their way. There is no bar nor a restuarant. Driving range is a bit lacking because you cant hit any woods so it is a bit difficult to warm up since your first tee shot is a very hard and small fairway. But still I consider this one of the best tracks in Southern California. Some magazines have ranked this course as high as #7 in the state. A must play if in the area.

Shoot in the 90s

Played 12/00. Of the 3 courses I played while in the area, this was the nicest. The tees, fairways and greens were all in great shape. The course with its back drop, was very picturesque and offered a few challanging holes. Staff was friendly, play was at a good pace.
