Shoots in the 70s

Got the chance to play this course because my brother lives in Temecula. I had seen it on the golf channel, golfing with the pros with Corey Pavin. Did not know what to expect but wow was I impressed. Overall layout of the course is awesome (front 9 is night and day better than the back imo). I am a long driver so the par 5's were very reachable for me. A neat feature of the course is when you climb 300 feet to a tee box. The average golfer can hit a 9 iron 200 yards because of the elevation which is a good ego booster. GREAT COURSE

Customer Service

Amazing. only reason why it didnt get 5 stars was it was a little pricey.

Shoots in the 80s

I played Journey in June of 2010. I’ve played a few of the courses in this area but never made out to Pechanga. Upon pulling into the place, you’d swear they plucked this place right off of the Vegas strip. The hotel is huge and very nicely done with no expense spared. The course is on the south side of the location and the clubhouse alone is a work of art, again with no expense spared. I showed up about twenty minutes before the restaurant at the clubhouse opened, but the waitress cooked me up something without skipping a beat, (what a sweetheart). As for the course, WOW, great course. Yes it’s a bit pricey but if you’re a golfer you have to splurge every once in a while. This is hands down one of the nicest courses in Southern California and worth every penny. The fairways are like carpets and were in perfect condition. This in a time where many courses are cutting back on the water, not this place. The opening hole is a wide par five that gives you a chance to get off to an easy par. All of the par fives are long with guarded greens making it tough to go for it in two. The par threes range from 130 to 200 and do take some club decision making. The rest of the course range from good scoring opportunity to good shot making required. Overall, the front nine is much easier than the back nine. In your cart is a huge GPS screen that describes each hole with tips and the usual yardage information. Treat yourself to a great golf experience and give it a go.
