I live in Ukiah, and here and there I will take a few months off of golf when Im busy or during the very wet rainy seasons, but in spring and summer I play it 3 to 7 times a week. I have played a few courses that are a lot harder, but I have also played a lot that are a lot easier. Your really gonna have to be on your A game to par this course at score of 70. There are a lot of elevation changes, and the course is in much above average shape and condition for a municiapl course. Probably the nicest municipal course I have ever played, and prices reasonable. Weekdays its 20, and 18 for twilight after 1 pm, weekends its 25 and 22 for twilight after 1. All in all with a cart you can go any day for under 40 bucks, if its busy it will play slow. Not a lot of advanced golfers in the area, and a town full of seniors makes for a long day on busy weekends, but if you go after 1 on a weekday it will fly, and most will let you play through. Let me warn you, if you plan to walk better be in shape, lots of up hills and in the summer wont find many days under 90 degrees, usually hovers around 100 and up to 110. All in all, this is my home course, and for the price, and the beautiful area, its great. Deer and turkeys roam the course and its just a friendly, nice relaxing and somewhat challenging course, id recommend it for all levels of play and wouldnt be opposed to traveling a few hours even to play it if I had to, luckily, I can hop on the first fairway from my house.

A short interesting 18-hole muni course. Lots of up and down holes with some nice elevation changes in the foothills in Ukiah. Some impressive elevation changes. Old growth trees add to the challenge. A fun course. Fairways and tees are a mixture of different grasses and weeds mowed to a fairly playable level. Can be walked but it would be a good hike. Decent fairways. Greens run the gamut from fairly good to something with a lot of dirt showing through. Good diversity. This course is always busy and play is on the slow side. Good for most levels of play. Not too easy or hard. Very reasonable price, $20. No range. Has a practice green. Small cafe. Well worth playing.

Ukiah is a good short par 70 golf course in a great town. Some quirky holes, but this is to be expected on this type of course. Medium-small greens can be tough to hit if you're aren't striking it well. Most fairways are generous in width, but there are lots of trees if you stray very far off line. Course is fair in that if you play well you can post a good score but if you're struggling the bogeys can pile up.

Customer Service

Friendly small town atmosphere.
