Corse was not in that good of shape.

Customer Service

I left a 3 wood on the course, and got virtually no help trying to retrieve it. needless to say I never got a call.

If you're a single, it's tough to get on this course. First, they don't take reservations for singles, they make you come in and sign up. The problem is, they aren't paying attention to their own singles list, so groups of less than 4 might might head off without you getting called in. I've tried several times to play this course near my home, but I'm not heading back there to play as a single.

Customer Service

An earlier review said the customer service was rude, and from what I've experienced, that's correct. Maybe not to everyone, but that was my personal finding. There are so many other courses where the employees are clearly trained to be polite and courteous because they really want your business, but not here.

This used to be a good course to play. Challenging and at a fair price. Now the geniuses who run the place have decided to have people start on the 1st and 10th holes in the morning, with a 4-5 hour break before doing it all over again. Result? Even less tee time available than before. The local politicians want to increase the fees even more with the result that fewer people will want to play. With the new system, I tried to get on as a single several time and was unable to play. I've given up going there. Bob Boldt, the staff and the City of Walnut Creek have ruined a good thing. I only two miles away but I have no intention of ever playing this course again.

Customer Service

The customer service sucks. They get enough business to fill their tee times. They don't care if people can get on or if they have a good time even if they do manage to get a reservation between the cliques that usually play there. Pro shop sells crap that even Nevada Bob rejected before they went out of business. Do yourself a favor and play somewhere else. My suggestion is go to Pittsburg (15 minutes away from Boundary Oak) and play a course that is just as good, cheaper and the customer service is much better.

Great value! Course is in good shape and play flows well. Greens are sloped, fast and challenging. Not a lot of elevation change but they make up for it with some twists and turns. Fun course. Pro-shop on the other hand is terrible. Very rude in the pro-shop and on the range. Didn't speak with any of their teaching pros but the rest of the employees I worked with all had frown on their faces and treated me like I didn't belong.

Customer Service

Customer service is terrible. The people were so rude I almost don't want to go back.

Course is in wonderful condition greens are very well taken care of. However this courses customer service SUCKS! The only way to get a tee time is to be a resident of Walnut Creek or know a resident from walnut creek. I have made a tee time for early saturday morning and even called to confirm the day before only to be bumped when I arrived at the course. The starters are rude and most of the playing groups are cliquish.

A decent course set close to Mt. Diablo in Walnut Creek. Course is kept in nice shape. Greens can be challenging after they have baked in the hot summer sun. Water borders approx. 7 holes but really should only come into play on about 3. The par 4 11th plays over a small pond on your second shot making it one of the more interesting holes on the course. $20.00 walking for non-residents is a good price for these parts! This course does have about 4 or 5 temp greens that never seem to be used, but on the occasion they are...good luck on finding your yardage.

Great muni coarse. Challenging terrain, well maintained greens, good overall length, great price for bay area golf.
