They over book the course and then they push you through to keep things moving. Move to slow and they will tell you to pick up your ball and skip the hole. Do not attempt to play here if you are anything less than an experienced player. Poor, poor customer service. Have played on many courses across the country and have never seen anything like this.

They are most often rude.

Shoots in the 90s

Only played the back 9. Several elevated and undulating greens are the main challenge (and will test anyone's short game). Also a good amount of water and sand, and some tilted fairways. Rough is short and almost a non-issue, and there is very little OB except the perimiter (and the whole course is pretty much a giant square, so not much perimiter). Trees are mostly widely spaced, limbed high, with fairway right to the trunks, mostly taking them out of play. Only place you are going to lose a ball here is the water (and maybe OB -- on two holes, an errant shot could easily go into traffic!).

Greens were fast and funky -- hardest-putting 9 I can recall in the area.

#12, a 600+ yard par 5, sets up a classic risk/reward opportunity (well placed shot, over long water, is probably the only way to get on in 2). #11, par 3, is probably the toughest: wide open fairway, but elevated, convex green, well-protected by several bunkers. My approach shot reversed direction and rolled off the green twice.

Greens were a bit ragged ("scar tissue" and a lumpy appearnce in general), but rolled surprisingly true. Fairways were immaculate. Clubhouse is very nice, folks nice too.

Overall, quite a challenging course, and a great bargain for this well-kept place. However, I found it monotonous -- I much prefer more natural landscape throughout a course. This layout is pretty sterilized, and is only saved by the fact that the whole place is on an incline, and by subtle course design.

Nice muni course. I only played the front nine. Course was in good shape. I hear the back nine is much more difficult.
Good prices, and a decent break from the normal course I play (Indian Peaks)

Shoots in the 90s

I can only attest for the front 9 holes. The front 9 was a great round of golf! Mostly par 4's two par 3's and one 5. Whoever designed this course liked sand traps there sure are alot of them. The par 4's were fairly challenging as the fairway wasn't always wide and straight, but a good drive and birdies are attainable. the hardest holes were the last 3, the 7th doglegs around water, don't hook and a good drive is essential or you'll be behind water again. The 8th is a par 3 completely over water something like 180 yards. One green looked awful but the rest were excellent as well as the fairways, I recommend!

Customer Service

I went in and right to the first tee. Very efficient.

Shoot in the 90s

This course is a Beautiful course, especially for being in the city. It has many challenges. The most difficult hole on the front 9 is # 4 which has a dog leg left and is a par 5. From the tee you cannot see the pin. It takes a good golfer to reach the green in 3. The hole is mostly on the front side of the green which is a major down slope, however not as bad as the par 4 5th hole. This hole has a dogleg right and the green has a big dip in the middle of it, making it a challenge to keep your ball on the green.

Customer Service

Tee times are difficult if you don't have a reservation card. You can only make tee times without a card 2 days in advance but you can make a tee time on the day you want to golf, the only problem is you don't really have first choice and that's where the reservation card comes in handy.
