Ridiculously slow. Almost 3 hours to play the back (sleeping Indian) 9. We waited on every shot, even tee shots after the par 3's. The only marshall we saw totally ignored the fact that there were 2 holes open in front of the group in front of us.

Of the three nines, Silo (the latest addition Holes 19-27) is the worst. This is a target golf and takes the driver out of your hands except may be one or two holes. Cottonwood (Holes 10-18) is the best with lots of water holes. For most part, there is no need to hit a driver on any of the holes. Accuracy is more important than the length in most of the 27 holes. Most par fives can be reached in two, if you hit a good driver.

Well maintained and good design.

There are a lot of Canadian geese that hang out on the course, making it a bit messy some times.

This course is an excellent public course. The design is such that it is challenging but plays fair with good risk/reward on many holes. The fairways and greens are well maintained. The course plays long, but it is Colorado. Water comes into play on quite a few holes. There are three nines, so you're not playing the same track repeatedly.
