Shoots in the 80s

My first thought when I got there was, "why would someone build a course in the middle of a wind tunnel?" Seriously thought, there is a constant 20mph wind that blows through the place. Oddly, it appears that the course was designed around this factor. On one par 3, the wind blows left to right. It is about 145 to the green, with water to the left and bunkered to the right. It takes some cojoles to start the ball out over the water and trust the wind to bring it back to the green. I started the ball out on the left side of the green, and was dropped dead center of the bunker. Clever layout, and fast play. Still, after 18 I felt like I needed a nap. Playing in that sort of wind is a total grind.

Customer Service

Very nice, very polite.

I really hate when the speed of the practice greens aren't reflective of the speed of the real greens.

Interesting new course. Has some gentle rolling terrain with very few mature trees. (I like the big trees at old courses). There are some short par 4''s at aroun 300 yards which might sound lie preety easy holes. However they have done a masterful job of placing fairway bunkers that overlap across the fairway. Requires you to think about your tee shot and use something other than a driver. I like holes like this because in keeps the course interesting, no matter how many times you play.

Customer Service

Staff was very friendly.
