I am a resident of Lafayette but have never played this course before today. At 51 dollars for non residents and 46 for residents its a chunk of change. Lets start of with course design. This is a Hale Irwin signature coarse i believe and it shows. Lots of undulation in the fairways, medium sized greens often multi tiered and a considerable amount of distance to cover. The best way to characterize this course risk/reward. If you hit a good drive you'll often have a 9 iron or wedge into the green, if you find the rough or go shorter the greens are very unforgiving. The bunkers has some of the better sand I've seen in Colorado although some are very deep. The fairways are kept very well with the rough a punishment every time. The practice facilities are some of the better i've seen as well with a large driving range that faces the flatirons, large chipping green as well as putting green. This is a nice course, a little expensive for my taste but than again i say that everywhere.

Customer Service

The staff were nice, the cart ladies were nice as well. The pro shop is pretty big with fair amount of stuff in it. Pretty average as far as a staff goes.

I hate to post this because it's hard enough to get a good tee time at Indian Peaks as it is, but you should know this is a really great muni course. One of the best you will find in the Denver area. With the exception of the sand traps (I am not sure what they used for sand, but it's more like fine dirt), the course is always maintained very well! It's a good course for all levels based on the tee box you use. I highly recommend 16 plus handicaps use the white tee's. Number 7, 9, 16 and 15 can take the fun out of your game fast from the Blues if you don't hit a 240 yard driver straight, and if you do ht a driver 240+ yards straight your probably not a 16 plus handicap. (I am a 19) The rough is to be avoided. Unlike many muni courses this one has tough deep rough.
Stay on the short grass and this course is pretty easy. Stray into the rough and you have a few doubles or triples waiting for you. Don't over play the breaks on the greens.

Customer Service

Beverage and restaurant staff are very friendly.

They always seem to be one person short out on the course on the week ends. Take a water bottle if its hot as you may not see a beverage cart for 7 or 8 holes

I play this course two to three days a week because of its proximity to my office and home. I've played many courses on the Front Range but I always come back to Indian Peaks. In the highly competitive Denver metro area market, this stands out as one of the best values for your dollar.

Customer Service

No complaints.

This course has gone down hill over the past few years. It is, at best, an average muni course. Expect the rules to be enforced and won't bend if the woman pro is in the club house except for the most important one. Pace of play. She has no tolerance for any others being bent and the course is usually jammed up terribly trying to fit everyone in. This couse could be a great test of a players ability but unfortunately it has gone the way of most muni's in that the greens are average at best, the hole cutting is inconsistent, the fairways are so-so, the bunkers are wet gravel and the pins are the same every day of the week. If you are an average hacker, this is ok but if you are looking for a nice course to play on your vacation, there are much better options.

Customer Service

This comes down the the person. Some are ok but the one woman pro is very inflexible except for pace of play.

One of the best public golf courses in the area. By far the best manicured public course in a twenty mile radius. Ok price at $32 for 18 holes for residents.

Customer Service

Good service at the snack bar.
