Shoots in the 90s

Course is a bit pricey for the Denver Metro area but we played it today and the 2 nines(meawdows-canyons) we played are in very good condition.

When Fox Hollow opened in 1993, it raised the bar for all public courses in the Denver area. This is a public course that is as well managed and maintained as any private course I have played at. Fairways, tees, greens, and traps are always in great shape. Range is nice, you can get on grass throughout most of the summer, mats are used in early spring and fall/winter. Fox Hollow is built in a hilly valley (sounds strange I know) by the foothills which gives the course its unique design and variety of conditions. The course itself consists of 3 distinct 9-hole courses, Meadows, Canyon, and Links. All are fun to play, my personal favorite is Canyon-Meadows. The 5th at Canyon, a par 4 which requires a precise 220yd lay up followed by an accurate iron shot to a well-guarded green about 100 feet below the landing area, is without a doubt my all-time favorite hole in Denver. Paring this hole is an accomplishment for anyone.

Fox Hollow is not an easy course (in my opinion) and requires precise shots to keep the ball in play. All three courses are ball eaters with fenced off natural areas and plenty of water and creeks. Rangers at Fox Hollow have no problems telling groups to pick up and move on if they are slowing up play while looking for their ball! The course can be easily walked, only the first 5 in the Canyons are significantly up and down. Overall a great course and highly recommended.

An incredible public course- 3 9 hole courses, 2 up high w/ rolling links type and 1 low with water and trees. A excellent value, especially if you are a JeffCo resident ($30 to walk). Greens are very good and moderately challenging. Fairways are generally very good as well. 5 tee positions gives a lot of players a chance. Grass range. The best municipal course I've played.
