Great conditions. Lots of interest and diversity. Very nice clubhouse. Great service. Marshalls keep the pace of play at a nice level.

They are in the process of building homes but they don''t really come into play. Other than that no other weaknesses.

A beautiful course. 3 nines for a total of 27 holes. As mentioned before Meadows, Pinon and Ponderosa courses. All courses are very wide open and favor use of the big sticks. The meadows course is flat with some water. Most of it is easy to avoid. It is also in the best shape. Greens, tees and fairways are very nice. The two hill courses roll and tumble through the foothills with some very nice elevation changes and great view of the valley and mountains. These 2 courses have great fairways and tees but the greens could be better. A bit had and quite a few ball marks. The course is located at about 8000 feet in elevation, making it seasonal. It''s a beautiful course and well worth playing. It''s also good for all levels of player. It can be a bit pricey. You pay for the first 18 and they will throw the 3rd nine in for the price of the cart ($18). 2 of the nines have to be carted and 1 can be walked. The 2 hill courses however would be strenuous. Well worth the time to play.

Nice Clubhouse

The strengths of this course lie in it's great variety of land and moderate climate allowing individuals to play comfortably at anytime of the day. The grass is green, lush and well maintained.

The driving range is currently under construction so only irons are allowed on the range. This will be resolved quite quickly I am sure.

When playing this course, one cannot help but notice the quality of the greens, the beautiful setting and the care taken by employees. With 27 holes it provides variety for those who wish to play everyday. One can play nine holes on Meadows, a long course with water in play then go on to play Pinon or Ponderosa, courses that are tree lined, hilly, and in the San Juan Mountains. Superintendant Terry Carter seems to take great pride in this beautiful course leaving no area neglected.
