By far, this is the most affordable golf course in Colorado! The course is a public 9-hole, two miles west of Walsenburg, Colorado at Lathrop State Park. It is not part of the course, but access to the course if free if you tell the park's gatekeepers. This is a very fun course. The golf carts are electric EZ-GO's and they are in excellent condition. The course is in excellent condition with a fantastic view of the Spanish Peaks not too far off in the distance. Total for 18 holes is 72 with a slope of ten. Wonderful golf experience. Water and sand traps do not exist here, but the greens are elevated forcing you to play pitch-and-run your approach shots. I'll be back because the prices are so affordable.

Excellent customer service! I had a fantastic breakfast burrito and the green chili somothered on it was some of the best I've ever had. They brought the golf cart to my car and the gentleman took the time to ask me if I had play before, and he gave me a good idea of the course.
