Shoots in the 80s

Excellent course and highly recommended if you're ever in the area. I played there September 2010, and the course was in great condition. Greens roll true and are decently fast. It doesn't feel like a normal FL course due to its elevation changes. It does have blind shots and a lot of doglegs but to a true golfer that is always a pleasant challenge. Good shots rewarded and bad shots add up the score, as any course really. I shot an 81 the first time I played with the help of a members navigation. Fun for all handicapers.

Shoots in the 100s

I enjoyed this course. This course is unlike any in Florida with a lot of hilly terrain. The elevation changes are challenging but fair. There are a few blind tee shots that can fool you the first time through. It is in excellent condition, and fun to play. A definite course to consider putting on your play list, since it is so different for the area.

Customer Service

Excellent. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I thought the food in the clubhouse restaurant was excellent.

One of the worst tracks I have ever played. In terrible condition-greens rolled a solid 4 on the stemp-its a terrible layout-I do not enjoy making over 10 blind shots per round-this takes alot of the fun out of golf-you hit a solid shot and think you are in the right place and you cant even find your ball when you drive over the hill. High handicappers would like this course-i am sure its fun to play for someone who is used to only playing flat florida courses-but if you are trying to score-its a nightmare.

Customer Service

not good.

Loved the course so much I bought a house in the subdivision surrounding it. Can't replicate this course anywhere in Florida and it is only getting better.

Customer Service

Great. Friendly and accommodating staff

Course is in best shape ever. Most elevation changes in Florida, best draining too. Can't beat overall experience for the price.

After playing many of the great courses available here in Orlando (I'm a native) I had a great time playing this interesting course. Although the geens did not live up to our local standard of some of the best anywhere it was still a good experince overall.

Do not judge Orlando's golf course quality by the DPC. On the other hand the layout and rolling fairways do offer locals a glimpse into how it might be elsewhere in the U.S. to golf in on hilly countrysides.

I found the landscape to be sparse and construction seemed to intrude at many tee's from homes being constructed while I was there on April 14, 2001. The clubhouse was nice, plenty of attendants & rangers. There were odd occurances of support staff roads and other unusal sites. I can only assume that this will be an absolutly great course someday but not today.

It was however reasonably priced and I would like to play it again because of the course chalenges and uniquness of the terrain.

If you normaly play the white tee's I would suggest playing from the blue at DPC Clermont.

Played this in February 00. Playing in Scotland I'm used to the wind, but for locals this must be tough.
Due to the elevation changes and the wind the yardage book basically goes out the window.
Course is new and when I played was immature. In 1-2 years I would say that this will be in the top three that I have played in Florida (and i've played a few, i have a property in orlando and i wisit 3 times a year. Some outstanding holes, accuracy is a must, distance not a huge factor but to score well you need the ball on a string. You must be able to shape your shots.

As good as Orange County National for half the price, but not in as good condition due to the immaturity. Better than Southern Dunes, Palisades etc etc.

Awesome course. On a big hill. It seems to get very windy. The day we played it was blowing 25 to 30. I hit a 4 iron on a par 3 that was 140 yards short of the green. Imaculate course. and very tough. I love it
