Shoots in the 80s

Donald Ross design says it all. Very challaging course with great tee boxes, fairways and greens. Afternoon rates and pace of play were outstanding.

Shoots in the 70s

The ghost of Ross can still be felt moving around this atypical Florida layout. The hard part comes quickly: One, Two, and Four all long, bending 4-pars that ask a lot. On the back a few very fast greens can eat you up: stay below the hole on Twelve, Thirteen and Eighteen! And use caution going over the water with your second shot on Fifteen — the hazard deceptive, wider than it appears. This is a fine track. I played it twice and will go out of my way to play it again.

A great course layout and always in good shape each October when we play there.

Shoot in the 100s

very pleasurable round... nice layout. in good shape generally but the weather has burned out some parts of the greens. very challenging greens b/c of small size. historical value should also be noted as the course was once the PGA home course in 1927 and was played by the likes of bobby jones and sam snead. good course for the money. twighlight rates very moderate. fairways moderately open. some blind shots into the greens out of the fairways on par fives.
