New owner who is working hard. The course has been renovated and is in great shape. lush fairways and quick-I repeat QUICK greens. Well conditioned and maintained course. Great practice facilities.
Only thing pending is completion of the club house renovation!

Pretty scenery? Nice hard fairways that give you lots of roll.

For the 50-60 dollars you spend depending on the time, this is not worth the money. Some of the greens have weeds growing on them, and almost all of them have damage to them from dead grass, or people not repairing their ball marks. As a side note, TPC Lutz is right around the corner from Cheval just off Lutz Lake Fern, and the playing prices are just about the same. Being a TPC course, the course is gorgeous and you'll have a much better experience.

I do not reccomend this course as of right now, as the owner of the golf course is trying to throw his weight around in the Cheval community by not maintaining the course because the Homeowners Association are not allowing home expansion around hole 8 of the course. He's already sold the land to all his friends and now it's almost useless. So he's just letting the greens turn to garbage.

Customer Service

The pro shop is very nice. However they really have a poor selection in terms of clubs (Titleist and Cobra only) and balls (Pinnacle, and Titleist). However, I do enjoy walking the course in the late hours and finding a pretty Pro V1 or two after walking 2 or 3 holes!
