The cost to play is very reasonable the majority of the year and I think The Habitat is one of the better courses in Brevard County.

The course is located right next to a small local airport and there are usually a good number of planes buzzing around the course on the weekend.

Very nice municpal course in Valkaria, Florida (just south of Palm Bay). The course features a good amount of water and a couple of the holes require short carries over natural scrub vegetation. The Habitat isn't terribly long, but there are some tight and challenging hole designs. For example, the 18th hole is a double-dogleg par 5 with water to the left off the tee and water short and right on your approach to the green. It's a stiff finishing hole. The course is set up very well for all levels of play. There isn't a lot of elevation changes, but more than probably the majority of courses in the area. The course conditions have been good the times I've played the course. Tees are usually about average and greens are usually a bit above average when it comes to conditioning.
