Shoots in the 80s

this course stinks. The price to play in winter i could play pebble beach.Unless your handicap is single digits put your driver away or you could just buy from the pro a sleeve of balls and hand it right back to him.Its corperatly maintained enough said. When it rains it a mire and when its still the humidity falls off your glasses like rain.

Shoot in the 80s

Egregiously overpriced! A pretty good course, sure, but by way of comparison, you can play Forest Oaks in Greensboro, home of the PGA's Greater Greensboro Chrysler Classic, for less than this course. The course is fairly well-designed, though water comes into play so much it seems gimmicky. There are two drivable par 4's, and the par 3's are pretty short, so the total yardage is not overly long. But it plays long, especially in the summer, because this low-lying course is perpetually soggy. You can see it was built in the middle of what once was a pristine wetland environment. Normally this would make for a scenic course, but the area has been extensively developed with homes. New homes are still being built, some of them right next to fairways and greens, so be prepared for construction sounds. Fairway yardages are well-marked on some holes, nonexistent on others. Ball washers are working most of the time, dry as a bone other times. Greens are typical Florida style - slightly elevated, bunkered on each side. Suraces are usually pretty good. Overall, a good course that suffers from being overpriced. For this money (played it last month on a weekday afternoon for $42) I expect better.
