Shoots in the 70s

All-around a very nice links-style course. We were hard pressed to find a tee box, fairway, bunker, or green with any problems. This course is well maintained. The greens were in excellent shape. The bunkers were full of soft sand. There aren't many trees to deal with except around the perimeter of the course. All par 3's were about 180+ yds from the blue tees. Course is a par 70 with only 1 par 5 per 9 holes but a couple long par 4's made up for it.

Customer Service

The staff was very courteous and prompt. There was no beverage/snack cart, but at least in the 90+ degree heat there were several water jugs throughout the course. The course marshal was visible to keep pace of play moving. The workers (mowers, watering guys, and bunker repair workers were all very courteous to the players).

Shoot in the 80s

PLAYED THIS COURSE SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE SUMMER AND FALL OF 2000. GREEN FEES ARE ABOUT 27.00 WITH A COUPON. WITH A COUPON, THIS COURSE REPRESENTS BY FAR THE BEST GOLF BARGAIN TO BE HAD IN THE PANHANDLE THAT I HAVE FOUND. THE STAFF IS POLITE, PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. THE COURSE IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND YOU WOULD BE HARD PRESSED TO FIND FLAW ON ANY FAIRWAY OR GREEN. A LINKS STYLE COURSE THAT IS ALWAYS A PRIVELEDGE TO PLAY.
