To begin with I should let you know that I have only been golfing for a few months. I got a new set of clubs for Christmas and wanted to try them out. We went out on December 31, 2010. We went to Wedgefield as our usual course was way too busy. A decision I deeply regret. This is the worst course I've played on in my short time I've been golfing. The course is so poorly defined. Along with that, each fairway is right on top of the next one. Tiny fairways, untrue greens, poorly kept "rough". Anybody that wants to play here may want to just set up a course in their back yard. It would probably look and play better. We will never return to this course. Even at $30, we felt cheated.

If they are crowded, you can get stacked up.

I have played this course several times and it has always been in very good condition. Back to back par 5 holes; several holes where water comes into play and stragetic bunkers on several holes. Lots of variety and fairly open and very nice course to play.
