requires good shots to score..stay out of the traps,
the sand is very fine,you won't get a good lie.

needs to be in better shape.but still good value.
The greens were in the process of recovering from the
drought,should be much better in 2-3 wks.

Tough course from the tips..long par 3's..some holes are
quite narrow.if the wind is blowing,you've got trouble.
Nice layuot,some pretty holes with teeth!

Course condition - though it's getting MUCH better lately.

One of my favorite courses in the area. Sits right next to the HUGE retirement community of Sun City, with its 5 courses, meaning it doesn't get a whole lot of play. A difficult, narrow course, with lots of water (especially on the back,) Beautiful par-3's, very testy par 4's. I played it from the tips once, and by the time I got to the 245-yard par-3 17th (all carry over water), I was exhausted (though it's only 6972 yards from the back.) When played from the much easier blue or white tees, this course is a real pleasure to play; and a great bargain at $40.00. Summer rates are outstanding - you can play after 3:00 for $20.00, and easily get a full round in. The course has had some problems in the past with maintenance, although the new management group is really making some great strides.

Play here when you can. You won't be disappointed.
