Layout (though unmarked); Clubhouse; Practice facility

No description of holes/yardage book.

I played a round at Weston Hills on the Tour Course on 1/18/03. Shot 47+47 from the blues. Despite the 50 degree temps and strong winds I thought the course was great overall but as usual like to chirp about a few things. Maybe it was just the timing but the greens were not in great condition and the course wasn't marked very well (though they did have a unique feature at the tees which show the green layout and with a tee where the pin was for the day). I guess my general complaint is the course doesn't have a yardage book and at the tees there's no layout of the hole so I didn't know the distances to the fairway traps and to cover water shots. The back nine is definately harder than the front. Very challenging course overall with many holes lined with water and almost every green small and covered by bunkers. Requires both a solid long and short game to get to green. The best feature of this course was by far the Clubhouse. I dont know the size of it but it had to be 50k sq feet and has a great resturant/bar and nice locker room. The staff was top notch and the practice facilities world class.

the drainage system isn't the best and is wet from time to time.

Great all around. I play at least 4 times a week there. Everything is always PERFECT.
