Played OCN over MLK weekend in January, 2008. 4 rounds over 3 days and everything is was fantastic. The service was excellent, all of the staff members courteous and friendly, lodging was acceptable, practice facilities top notch and the courses perfect. An all around great golfing experience!

BEST COURSE I HAVE EVER PLAYED! This is a very well maintained course and is in the middle of nowhere which is great. It is pretty long and is a must play if you are down in disney, better than all the disney courses by far. The driving range is also sweet and so is the gps on the cart. worth all 110 dollars

Customer Service

Very friendly

played Crooked Cat Feb 2006. Beautiful facility. Course was well kept and did not have houses encroaching on the course. Course was difficult but fair. Greens well manicured. Enjoyable round. Bring sunscreen. very few trees.

Customer Service

service was ok. waitress staff at restuarant left something to be desired, but food was ok.

Although its far from civilization, this is a hidden Gem. You really feel like your at a golf course, no condos or houses around, no streets, active wildlife and 2 very nice courses. Oh and the Gps, it was great, its from the pin not the middle of the green and also tells u how far the other golf carts are from you, a great experience.

Love both of these courses. I stayed at the lodge for about 4 days and played Crooked Cat three times, Panther Lake once, and played up the street at Stoneybrook West once as well. Compared to these courses, Stoneybrook West is not worth the time. The course maintenance is perfect: great greens, perfect fairways, rough could be more penal, but on some holes you are lucky it isn't. I loved the fact that houses were nonexistant along the courses as they are both out in the boondocks. The practice facility is really one of the best I have ever been too. I always have the urge to play in pitch dark and Orange County just happens to have a lighted green that I was on all night. Other than that, there are 2 more greens both for chipping and sand play (putting as well obviously), and there is their famous 360 degree driving range whose only downfall is that no yardages are given for the greens. Oh yea, I forgot about the GPS system, which is very helpful and descriptive. The customer service is also incredible, everyone is beyond nice and helpful, even the cart girls treat you like you own the place. Overall the course is amazing, I loved it.

Customer Service

Best of anywhere I have ever been.

Practice facility is awesome. The lodge isn't necessarily for people who want to have great rooms or be pampered, but it's perfect for the golf. It's literally right next to the course starters and a lighted putting green is about 20 feet away as well.

If you're staying in Disneyville and want a more links type golf experience than is available on the manicured greens (oops, I mean fairways) of the Disney courses, then make the drive up to Orange National. Or, if you just want a pure golf weekend, stay at the lodge and play, play play. Both courses are very rewarding tests, and each has its own distinct personality. Out in the middle of nowhere, you stay there to play golf, period. If the wind is blowing, these courses can be a bitch, as they are wide open, with hardly a tree to block the gusts. Very good golf.

Played Crooked Cat 6/16/2000. Relatively good shape for the ensuing summer season. It's low-season now (hot) and not played too much. Greens are undergoing changover to summer growth (bumpy). It was recently aerated. Generally, the course is still a great play. No rough, really, just 1-2" max. The day I played, we played behind two seemingly very-high handicappers. 5 hour round. The ranger tried to help, but other than pushing them in the lake, nothing much could have been done.
