Nice course. A lot of work has been done to this course in the last two years. Greens are fast and challenging.

Excellent. Find the staff to be very friendly and accomodating. Food is very good, service is better than most places I've played and atmosphere is upbeat. Music a little dated.

we moved here 3 years ago. greens and fairways over the past 2 years have been horrible due to bad weather and then new greens. But the coarse has done a terrible job with getting back up and it has turned inot a glorified running and dog walking track. very frustrating for those of us who pay monthly dues. Coarse does nothing when you call and complain about people on coarse during golfing hours. We are thinking of just joining again.

customer service is awful. food is boring, drink prices are way to high. I would never come up on a friday or sat for cocktails in the lounge. never any good music playing. very boring to sit up there. Hired help is unfriendly and take is never right.

We are part of the Atlanta Jr Golf assoc. so we play all around, our coarse is lacking in so many areas. Our clubhouse is not inviting and the pool area is such a joke. I dont want to go sit up there it is not comfortable and service is just as bad there.

American Golf has taken another great layout and turned it into a dump! Many long time members have left after repeatedly being ignored by management. Excuses abound, so don't waste your money when they try to entice you to join for next to nothing. I played with a non-member recently, and he asked for his guest fee to be refunded - and got it!

A great layout that has gone to crap because of the management that is in place. American Golf has let this course go to crap by not fixing an on-going problem with the greens. Service at this club is provided by high school kids, and is very poor.

The practice areas are always in excellent condition. The service in the pro shop is outstanding.

The tee boxes tend to be in disrepair, so they are constantly being moved. Some of the secondary locations are awkwardly placed. As another reviewer noticed, a couple of the greens are "goofy."

Tee times are usually wide open during the week; I have played this course in the afternoon and had it to myself. A lot of people are overlooking a fine course. The greens tend to be fast and hilly. The rough is forgiving, since the groundskeepers keep it cut low. The setting is in a private country club community, so there are houses scattered along the fairways, but they are usually hidden by thick north Georgia forest. There are some really nice holes on this course, and some really frustrating ones. It rewards long drives, and punishes poor putting.

Layout, overall condition, bent grass greens.

Some of the greens are just goofy. Too many houses too close.

Perhaps the most underrated course in Georgia. Very good layout with several great holes and a wide variety of shots required. Usually in very good condition with medium fast bent grass greens that are multi-level and somewhat tricked up. Clubhouse is beautiful. Practice green and range are first rate, with artificial turf mats for bad weather. Staff is excellent.
