A real Course Management tester. Some of the creeks are located 190 to 260 yards off the tee, forcing you to make a "go for it or lay up" decision several times. Attractive location -- deer, hawks, geese, and nice views. The 7th hole, tees elevated far above the fairway, forcing a tee shot through hanging foliage, is a real straight-shot tester.

Not an ego-booster for beginning players (slope is 125 on White, 129 on Blue, 120 on Red). The drought is nipping the course away, but I've seen worse.

Attractive course, but tricky. A lot of hills, and a creek runs through, or next to, 13 holes. Two other holes have lakes. The course is well maintained, but with the drought, it's still more patchy than it should be. Some of the creeks are really mostly dry these days. During last year's drought, they lowered the greens fees, but the greens were virtually unplayable sand. As of this year, the greens had recovered, definately playable, but frayed in a couple of places. $55.00 for weekend play -- a little stiff, but so are most other N. Atlanta courses.

Restaurant serves the normal sandwiches and chili dogs, a better variety than most. No beer sold on Sundays, so they have been known to give away a glass or two for free. Range is long, grassy, with several tiers to keep the grass fresh.
