Great course for the money. A few blind shots can be frustrating for the purist, but those same shots can tempt the long hitters to go for the green in one on a few par 4s. Water on 8 can come into play, but you have to hit way right for it to be a problem. I thought it couldn't be done until I had a buddy banana slice two tee balls in the drink, and subsequently duff 2 3 woods into the same drink. Good times.

Good course for the money. Can get slow on nice weekends, but what public course doesn't? Not too tough.... except for the extremely tough hole #8. One guy that I play with, and it never fails, puts it right in the drink at least twice on 8!!! It is so in his head at this point. Can't wait til it warms up and we go back to brown's mill and see another splash in 8.

Alright... I need to give Browns Mill the top rating of the 4 municpals. With a $600 membership, or $25 a round w/cart AGPA card you really cannot beat the price and value of this course. You can actually take advantage of hitting a green in regulation. They even gave me a free PowerBar. And the Cart-Girl is still Cute!

This course is rapidly becoming my favorite course in the Atlanta area. The front nine have some good holes that present challenges and different types of shots. The No. 3 hole is everything you've read, and more. Course management will be tested. The back nine are a bit more straightforward, but are also challenging. The course is well maintained and the greens are in very reasonable condition. The red, white, blue flags (for front, middle or back of green) are an excellent touch that heightens my enjoyment of the course.

When compared with N. Fulton and Bobby Jones, Browns Mill is by far the best. The only Municipal course left to play is "Tup" so I cannot comment on that one. A very balanced course with some tough holes. As you might have read, #3 will make you feel like your little sister. It is only 435, but plays like a monster from Beth Page. Course is maintained very well, and the staff is always pleasant! Cannot beat the price if you are an Atlanta resident right now... the course is in great shape.

Customer Service

Always good! Guys in shop are friendly and decent to talk to, and yes the beer-girl is cute!

They have a range! 2 Putting greens are in good shape and represent the actual greens well.

THe best so far out of the four. Haven't played tup yet. Puts N Fulton and Bobby to shame. about as half as busy. and the course is in much much better shape. But, its long and sometimes frustrating. Hole #3 will just kill any confidence you had, it is a 435 yard up up hil par 4. even if you hit a great drive you still can't hit the green in 2 even if you tee it back up where you landed lol. Will be getting a membership there next year. Oh the beer cart girl is cute too.

Customer Service

Great, they are all nice.

Not a course for the weak of heart, the sucker can be long. I hit more fairway woods into greens here than just about any other course in Atlanta and the 3rd hole might be the toughest par 4 in the Metro area. In terms of bang for your buck, this is the most golf in town.

Range putting green are okay for average course, but great for a muni.

The best muni course I've played. A little tight but well maintained. Play was a little slow (Sat morning) but moved along better on the back side.
