I've played N. Fulton for years and the two weaknesses have always been course condition and pace of play. In 2005-2006 American Golf Corp. (the mgt. company) put some money into maintenance and it shows. The greens were rebuilt and sodded with a Greg Norman hybrid, engineered to take the heat and high number of rounds. A lot was done to improve drainage, however, 1,2,7,10 & 17 still hold some water in places. Pace of play is still a problem, but until the number of t-times is reduced plan on 5 hour rounds. Overall, the layout is great the staff is friendly and there are plenty of spandex-clad young women on the jogging path that encircles the course.

I think this is a great course. It is not too expensive. There are some challenging shots including blind ones. Some of the holes are actually very long with tough pin spots. If you think you are in for walk in the "park"(no pun intended, this is Chastain Park area) then try holes number 6,7(wow),8,9,10,15(wow) and 18(wow again) from the back. Tough. Good run for the money.

Customer Service

Great. Everyone is nice. Ask for Matt Arnold. Very good instructor

6 Hour Round. The Worst municipal you can play. Limited parking available. No use in scheduling a Tee-Time they won't honor it. 20-30 minutes for each hole. Money driven course, but that money is not put back into the course. Narrow, Unkept, poorly drained, Flooded, wooded, golf course with greens that have two speeds: (Hay-field, or Concrete). Poor parking, and a very long day.

Customer Service

Poor at best. Nazi-like starter haggling you to pull up your cart, and show your receipt. Clubhouse staff would get fired at McDonalds for being incompetant. Extremely slow. The only focus they have is to get as many players on the course as possible.

Proshop has decent selection of products. Putting green available in front, but you would be challenged more on your carpet at home.

WOW worst one so far. not only was the service bad, but the rangers were complete a-holes! Layout was horrible it was my first time and I had no clue where to hit the ball. THere were big brown patches in the middle of the greens. YOu could see where it would break but it would never break. Even the ranger told me to just hit it straight, it won't break. Cmon! took us 6 hours to play 18 on a sat. afternoon. The only two things good were the cute beer girl and the hamburger I had between the front and back 9. I will play again, but that is becuase I have 2 two for one coupions for that dump.

Customer Service

was alright.

The golf instructor, Matt Adams, is wonderful and is a joy for the junior players. The golf course is fine for beginners and provides somewhat of a challenge for others.

Customer Service

Service is friendly and helpful.

Really excited about the early bird prices listed on the board, but lost the excitement when I was still charged $39 for not having Atlanta on my license. The course wasn't worth $39, as I can play Bentwater, Bradshaw Farms, Royal Oaks for less than that price, and they are in much better condition. I did enjoy the challenge of the tight fairways, and small greens. Not being sarcastic, I really liked the challenge. I shot 78, so it was all good. They need some Marshalls out there, because the kids, and novice players are rampant. I will play here again. Jim...

Customer Service

Very friendly, great prices on the club house items like Nike Polo Shirts for $36. Great deal since they are $65-$85 at other courses.

Pristine location, good layout, horrible shape. American Golf Corp. is the worst golf company on the face of the planet, period. Their treatment of the course is pathetic.

Course was in poor shape, but what can you expect from a really inexpensive public course. While not very difficult, there were enough challenges to present a good practice round. Course etiquette not a must on this course, and unfortunately people of very poor skill level play there ofter. Course plays very slow because of this, and greens were in poor shape. Only play here for a tune-up before heading out to a real course.
