Shoots in the 70s
Played this course for the first time 7/8/10 and it won't be the last. Excellent layout!! I am a "single walker" and played the front nine solo until I hooked up with a local 8-18. The help in navigating the back nine helped greatly. If you are not use to walking a hilly course I would highly recommend you ride here. This course has it all, lots of doglegs, uphill, downhill, side hill, blind shots, elevated greens, water hazards, challenging tee shots, par 3's over water!! The only thing it did not have was sand and in my opinion it did not need it. The course was in great shape even for several weeks of upper 90's and no rain. VERY CHALLENGING golf course!! If your vacationing in the North GA. area seek out this course, you will not be disappointed!! Customer Service Very friendly!! I stayed for a while after my round and conversed with several locals. They made me feel welcome. A very pleasant day of golf all around. Similar Products Used: The back nine was similar to Gatlinburg Municipal except less narrow and much fairer. |

This was my first visit to this course in North Georgia, but it will not be my last! I am a "single walker" and played most of the front nine solo. I hooked up with a local from 8-18 which was a great help in navigating the rest of the course. If you are not use to walking I recommend you ride. The course was VERY CHALLENGING, but fair. Local knowledge would help greatly so I would recommend playing this course more than once. Lots of doglegs, uphill, downhill, sidehill, blind shots to elevated greens, par 3's over water, the only thing this course does not have is sand which was not needed in my opinion. The course was in excellent shape even with no rain and high 90's for a couple of weeks. I played very well (79 from the blues) and was pleased with the whole experience. Can't wait for my next round at this course. If your vacationing in the N GA. seek out this course, you will not be disappointed!! Customer Service Very friendly!!
