The second favorite course I've ever played...just behind East Lake. I have played here more than 20 times and the course has always been in perfect shape. Lots of character and elevation changes. No houses around the course and lots of wildlife. #1 is one of the most beautiful holes I have ever played. Sits just beside their beautiful clubhouse and next to a clock tower. Elevated tee overlooks an inviting valley of a fairway. You can see the ravine in front of the green. And the green is shaped like #12 at Augusta with a trap just in front of it and the ravine is 60 yards in front of it. If you are long and catch your drive, then you can go for it in two, but I always lay up to around 120 yards. Great opening Par 5 hole. It is followed by 17 memorable holes. The designer left the lay of the land and the environment in place around the golf course. Lots of scenic views. Use every club in the bag. Just a perfect course and the best value in golf. Great range as well.

Customer Service

Outstanding. I have stayed in the rooms on the 2nd floor of the clubhouse and they are wonderful. They recently hired a new person to run the facilities and the restaurant and he has done a great job. Food is very good. They have a fitting center and when I was there they could fit you with Ping or Mizuno. The pro did an outstanding job fitting me with a set of Mizuno MX-23 irons.

I drive 2 hours from Atlanta to play this masterpiece. Every hole has a unique character. The approach shots to most of the greens are the best I've played. Staff is outstanding! Hawks were everywhere!

One of the best courses I have ever played. It places a premium on accuracy. Excelrnt faiways and near perfet bent grass greens. It is one of only a few recognized by the Autubon Society. Deer and wild tukey are every where.

Customer Service

Good practice balls are complemantary with the round. They have a good practice range.8 bucks for all you care to hit!

Wonderfully challenging "target" course. Tees, fairways, greens in perfect shape and cut (as of July 7, 2002). Recommend you do not walk unless you are in great shape. Lots of hills.
