I have played Collins Hill 4 or 5 times and enjoyed it. Not too crowded. Greens are in decent condition and fast. There are some funky holes- like hitting straight uphill on a par 3. Driving over a lake or blind tee shot.

Customer Service

Adequate and friendly.

Ok condition, greens need a lot of work. Looks like a good course gone bad. Tee-box is dirt. Will never golf here again.

Customer Service

AWFUL. Kicked us off the course at 6:04pm on 17th tee-box, and was the only group at the entire golf course. ESCORTED us back to the proshop.

It's been a long time since that last review, so let me catch you up. A lot of money has been spent to bring this course up to higher standards. Last summer, all the greens were dug up and replaced with the latest and greatest bermuda. They are now among the best greens in the area. The course is in fine shape and a lot of fun to play. The driving range is OK, not great but not bad, but they have the best chipping/pitching practice green of any course I play around here. It is almost as good as the greens on the course. The putting green is every bit as good as what's out on the course.

Customer Service

Evereyone is friendly enough, but I do have a couple of knocks here. I joined as a member a year ago. The head pro still looks at me as if I was a stranger every time I say hello (I play there A LOT). For a long while there, it seemed as if whoever was working the register in the pro shop just made everything up as they went along and you got different prices for different times of the day depending on who was working. As I said, I joined a year ago and only just found out 4 months ago that I have one free guest round a month as part of my package. And found that out by accident. What I'm saying is, the golf course is much improved, but there has not been very much good communication from and apparently among the staff there and you don't really get a great membership feeling. Also, they frequently rent the clubhouse out for private affairs and when they do that, you can't even get anything from the grill room, so if you're playing on a weekend afternoon, be sure and bring a cooler.

Golf course was not at all worth the money. I've played on 9 hole practice courses for under $15 that were in better shape. Crabgrass is abundant and the greens are worse than anything I've ever seen. Even the sand traps in some cases were in bad repair and unplayable

Customer Service

The Marshall was very helpful and helped us to get off and on the course cheerfully and quickly. The pro shop staff was curt and acted as if they were performing a major favor by taking our money!
