I saw this course rated at 5 stars and could not believe it. This is a good 3 star course at best, I would compare it with Jonesco and Little Fishing Creek in Gray & Milledgeville. I gave it 1 star to get the rating in line with what this course really is. Not bad, but definately not a 5 star.

A very good layout through varying terrain. Greens are in good shape thoughout the year. Should get better as it matures. Chris Davies, in the pro shop, is very knowledgable and helpful. Customer service is not a lost art form at Oakview thanks to Chris.

Shoot in the 100s

One of the prettiest courses in Macon. It's new, in the middle of a subdivision that's still being built. As the name might imply, the course has a couple holes where giant oak trees come into play -- especially the 18th, where you must carry a lake off the tee, but go over or under a huge oak tree right in the middle of the fairway. Summer weekend greensfees are $40, including cart.
