Shoot in the 90s

Outstanding Course, a well kept secret. Home of the EZ-Go/Chris Schenkle college golf classic this course features long, wide fairways on most holes, well maintained greens, lots of water, piney woods, and thick, heavy rough. The best golf course between Augusta and Savannah, combines an older, creative nine built in the 1940s with a longer, demanding back nine built in the 1960s. From the gold tees about 7,000 yards with water and bunkers in the most inconvienent places. Smallish greens with excellent putting surface and a reasonable amount of contour. Someone long and straight from the tee and a good sharpshooter with mid- to long irons can do well, the rest of us suffer.

Who's the Pro this week? Club apparently has trouble keeping a head Pro.
