Another of Idaho's hidden gems. This is a great golf course with some very challenging holes. I love courses with elevation change and this has it. Some very challenging holes that require shot placement rather than distance.

Very challenging. Well kept with many trees and natural, mature growth. One of Boise's finer courses.

Out of the way for those who are not familiar with the area this course can be hard to find. But well worth the time and effort to get to it.

Shadow Valley Golf Course is a beautiful course layed out in the Boise Foothills. It is an extremely challenging course. Be prepared to play target golf on many of the holes. The 2nd hole is a par 4 blind shot to the green around a corner and down the hill. Extremely difficult for the weekend type golfer like myself. This course however is one of the more challeging courses in the Boise area. It is very hilly and those who are not in good physical condition should plan on taking a cart due to the extremely hilly course layout. The greens are well kept as are the tee boxex. This course is one of Boise's finest (IMHO). But as I have mentioned it is extremely challenging too. Bring your best game and a healthy dose of tenacity to beat par this course.
