Shoots in the 90s

If you want to play golf with your family, this is the place. Easy course. Taking your kids on the cours is OK. Relaxed and very affordable. Fairways are pretty straight. Only hole #3 is a dog-leg bend. Hole #3 is fun because you play across 100ft pond (The green is big enough to land a helicopter). This is a great practice course and most of the time you do not have to rush along. Only a short season and never really busy since there are so many other things to do in the area. The view on the surrounding mountains alone is worth playing a round of golf here. If you play in the 80s/90s, this course will make you look great. If you like to play with your family, this is one of the best courses.

Shoot in the 80s

High altitude (6600 feet) short season course located about 35 miles south of Yellowstone Park. Snow is off about May 1 and the mosquitos command the area until about July 1. With the usual 6-10 foot snow pack you can expect flat moldy grass and greens until mid July. Very basic golf with vacation homes about the course. Time is this area may be better spent learning to fly fish or floating Big Springs or exploring Yellowstone. Still it beats computer golf or watching reruns of the Dubai Open.
