A very scenic and challenging course. When played from the back Blue tees, it is a great test of golf. The final three finishing holes are some of the most difficult golf holes in the Northwest. Competitive matches are won and lost on the last three.

There are lots of severe elevation changes, uphill and downhill. You will also rarely encounter a flat level lie anywhere on the course. This includes, tee boxes, fairways, and greens.

The back nine normally proves to be the most challenging. Large Cottonwood and Oak trees are strategically found in the most penalizing locations. On the back side, you will find Out of Bounds with errant tee shots on holes 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, and 18.

Along with the trees and O.B., the greens are no walk in the park either. They vary from hole to hole in terms of speed, firmness, large tiers, and severe slopes. Some are exposed to the elements on a ridge, and others are shaded in low elevations.

This is a fantastic course for any skill level, however a bit difficult for women. It's fair enough for the average golfer, but challenging for the better player playing from the back tees.

I learned to play on this course so I may not be objective. I do like the place though and think you will too, as long as you play during the week, or very early/late on weekends. The place gets VERY busy during the normal hours on weekends and can get sloooow.

It does have some interesting holes and lots of elevation changes, hitting both uphill and downhill about equally. Most holes are fairly forgiving of errant shots but if you can keep it in the fairway you can score here.
