Addison is no walk in the park!
Just when you think you've had enough to drink at the bar you then proceed to pound a few more on the course. I am the GREATEST!! NO ONE CAN TAKE ME OUT!
I am the point king.

As a local, I can highly recommend this course. I can say with a great degree of certainty that every golfer who grew up in Addison learned to play at the Addison Golf Course. Addison GC, about 25 miles west of Chicago, is located on Mill and Addison Roads, in Addison, Illinois. Built in 1958, the designer's name has been lost to the ravages of history. However, I'll tell you that it hasn't changed (if at all) in the last quarter-century. It's still a privately-owned, 9-hole par 3 -- not particularly challenging, and not always kept in the greatest condition. While I know this review is absolutely wheting your collective appetite, don't bother calling to reserve a tee time -- they don't take them. Addison GC is a classic example of an 50's-era muni-type course that's remained unchanged since it was built, and that includes the clubhouse. And THAT'S Addison's appeal -- and not just for the locals. Playing Addison is a nostalgic experience that's unequalled anywhere. But for somebody who's just learning to play, it's a great course! Last I played, the green fee was $12, and there's not too many places on the course where you could get into serious trouble.
